The Challenge:
Blair at Curran & Co approached us about helping him with some pages on his site that we’re broken. Not only that, Blair felt that the website didn’t reflect any personality of his business. It felt too corporate and boring, which is far from how he does business, so Aria was tasked with giving the site some personality and giving a face to the business while improving usability.
Before
The Outcome:
After our conversation we recommended Blair to sign up for a Website Healthcheck, so that we could plan out exactly how to implement the new changes.
We split it up into two phases:
– Phase one: Fix the broken pages and elements
– Phase two: Bring personality into the site and improve usability.
Blair is the face of Curran & Co, so getting his users familiar with him from the first instance was important to us.
Blair had some great images of himself and of the office, yet was using a lot of stock imagery throughout his site.
It is amazing what simple changes can do like creating more Call to Action buttons on every page and adding a slight border radius to the images to give it a softer feeling creates a more friendly tone.
We also gave the site a more consistent feel with it’s internal headers, the site now feels cohesive and users can be clear about where they are on the site.
After
Ross at Aria Web was absolutely fantastic.
During my initial website health check, Ross was able to help me articulate what I wanted to achieve from my website redesign, and the most efficient way of making this happen. Ross was able to articulate my ideas, provide options around how to materialise these ideas, and form clear objectives.
From there, Ross actioned this in a timely and cost effective manner, the end result being a redesigned website that I couldn’t be happier with.
A daunting process made easy and enjoyable. If you’re looking for help with your website, I highly recommend Aria Web: friendly, creative, efficient and cost effective.
